Gay marriage ban won’t move Indiana forward

A proposed constitutional ban on same-sex marriage in Indiana appears to be on a fast track for a vote in the 2014 General Assembly, despite recent action from leaders of Indiana’s capital and largest city opposing it.

“I am disappointed by that,” state Sen. John Broden, D-South Bend, said, “but I cannot say I am surprised.”
