Principal Chris Marshall is excited about the opportunity to expand Crothersville Elementary School’s preschool to more 4-year-olds next year.

Jackson County Education Coalition will grant $30,000 for the preschool, allowing it to take on more students and lengthen its hours, Marshall said.

“We have 24 kids total right now,” he added. “We’re hoping to increase by 60 to 70 percent more.”
