Groundbreaking today for expansion

Cummins Inc. will break ground on a new technical center and office building at its Seymour Engine Plant at noon today.

The 150,000-square-foot office building will be built on the plant’s north side where the existing parking lot and main entrance are along East Fourth Street.

The ceremony will include remarks by Ed Pence, the vice president of the company’s high horsepower engine business, and Jim Trueblood, vice president of high horsepower engineering.
