A group of residents at Shields House have picked up a new hobby that benefits babies in Jackson County: knitting hats.

Shields House is a senior living community located off Nicholas Court in Seymour.

Almost daily, some of the residents can be found gathered together, hands steadily working away, surrounded by balls of colorful yarn and looms.
