Guilty plea entered in ’09 slaying

An Austin man has pleaded guilty to killing a man in 2009 and hiding his body for three years.

Robert Riley, 40, had been set to stand trial Aug. 18, but the trial was canceled after the plea agreement was filed with the Scott Circuit Court on Monday.

The agreement calls for Riley to plead guilty to one count of murder and a charge of removal of a body from a scene, a Class D felony.
