VERNON

A leap from a second-floor apartment failed to keep a Jennings County man from being arrested Monday night.

Dustin V. Hines, 25, of North Vernon was booked into the Jennings County Jail in Vernon at 9:45 p.m. Monday. He remained in jail in lieu of $1,055 bond.

Hines was being held on charges of stalking with threats, a Class C felony; resisting law enforcement resulting in injury, a Class D felony in an earlier incident; and misdemeanor charges of false informing and criminal trespassing.
