Health care reform will be the focus of the next Lunch and Learn program offered by the Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce.

The program runs from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 10 at Jackson County Learning Center, 320 Dupont Drive, Seymour.

The program title will be “Health Care Reform University — An Update on the Health Care Act.”

Certified public accountant Mark Dennis, Jason Bukowski of Moore Insurance and Brad Wethington of SIHO will be panelists discussing the tax impact of the health care law, possible employer fees and compliance requirements.

“Health care isn’t just fodder for the presidential campaign,” said Bill Bailey, chamber president. “It is a very serious matter impacting business, employees, individuals and our economy. This panel will give some excellent information on this very important issue.”

All business owners and managers are invited. Fee, including lunch, is $10 for chamber members and $15 for nonmembers.

Reservations must be made by 4 p.m. Oct. 8 by calling the chamber at 522-3681.
