Health group to invest $3 million in hospital

A regional health network that’s purchased a southern Indiana hospital plans to invest $3 million in the complex.

The Regional Health Network of Kentucky and Southern Indiana — a joint venture of Norton Healthcare and LifePoint Hospitals — announced Wednesday that it has acquired Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg. The group said it will invest $3 million in the hospital under the acquisition. Other terms of the deal were not released.
