High School, student recognized during conference

Seymour High School along with one of its students was recognized at the 2013 Jobs for America’s Graduates Career Development Conference on April 19 in Indianapolis.

The conference serves as the state finals of a competition designed to challenge participants to demonstrate employability skills, according to a news release from Indiana Department of Workforce Development.

Students competing in the finals earned their spot by placing in one of the nine regional competitions.
