The future of full-day kindergarten will be discussed by Seymour Community Schools officials tonight.

This fall marked the first time Seymour has offered full-day kindergarten, thanks to an increase in state funding for the program. A total of 364 students were enrolled this year.

According to a cost analysis, 15 kindergarten teachers will be needed for the 2013-14 school year at a cost of just more than $1 million in salaries and benefits.
