History center plans Halloween event

Jackson County History Center will have treats for children from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday to coincide with the town’s trick-or-treat hours.

Members and volunteers will have hot chocolate and candy for all who come by the Livery Barn at Walnut and Sugar streets across from the Jackson County Courthouse in Brownstown.
