Hitting league starts Saturday at SHS

The Seymour High School baseball program is offering a hitting league.

The first session is at 1 p.m. Saturday at the SHS hitting facility. The other sessions are set for March 1, 8 and 15. Cost is $25.

Individuals will be assigned to a team. The number of players per team will depend on the number of participants.

Each player will get six swings per inning for six innings. The goal is to hit the ball to certain areas of the cage to score points for the team and individual. Overall team winners will receive a T-shirt, and the individual champion will receive a T-shirt and an award.
