Homemakers celebrate members’ birthdays

Member birthdays were celebrated when Pine Ridge Extension Homemakers Club met June 24 at Jean Auffenberg’s home.

“Happy Birthday” was sung and gifts were exchanged. The hostess handed out gifts and served cake and ice cream. Margaret Yeager received the hostess gift.

President Carolyn Krieger reported from the council meeting and said Morgan Myers of Brownstown Central High School had received the homemaker scholarship. The fall Bedford District meeting will be conducted Sept. 12 in Corydon with Harrison County homemakers serving as hosts. The luncheon fee will be $8.
