After a tough, two-set loss to the host team in Saturday’s Orleans Invitational, Medora’s volleyball team bounced back with a pair of wins.
The Hornets lost the first set against Orleans 33-31 before suffering a 25-11 setback. Medora then beat Crawford County 25-14, 16-25, 15-6 and Cannelton 25-14, 25-6 to finish 2-1.
“On the whole, they did very well. You can’t take Orleans to 33-31 and not be playing very well,” Medora coach Sara Carney said.
With two girls out of the lineup, Carney had to switch her rotation.
