Hornets can’t hold late lead, fall to Blackhawks

Medora’s boys basketball team led by eight points in the fourth quarter of Friday’s road game against sectional foe Springs Valley.

But Medora gave up a late run and lost 61-57.

Kam Flynn scored 18 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Hornets (2-8), while Bryce Cockerham and Roy Edwards each scored 13. Edwards led the team in rebounds with nine.
