MEDORA

When Medora High School’s boys basketball team began practice in November, the Hornets had high hopes for a winning season.

Senior Bryce Cockerham said in order for the Hornets to reach that goal, they are going to have to get tougher on defense and reduce turnovers.

“This season, we’re going to have to rely on our defense a lot more to turn the ball over and work as a team instead of working individually,” he said. “We need teamwork and not drop our heads when we start to get down.”
