Crothersville outscored Medora 21-14 in the third quarter of Monday’s boys basketball game to open up a 43-33 lead going into the final eight minutes.

The host Tigers then withstood a late rally by the Hornets to hold on for a 58-53 win.

“We started going inside instead of settling for 3s,” Tigers coach Greg Kilgore said of the difference in the third quarter when Grayson Barnes had two baskets and two free throws and Jacob Davidson had three baskets and a free throw.
