The Medora boys basketball team claimed its second win of the season Friday night by defeating Cloverport (Ky.) 57-47 in the Cannelton Invitational.

Then in Saturday’s championship, the Hornets battled Columbus Christian all the way before being outscored 15-7 in the second overtime and losing 87-79.

Hornets coach Andrew Evertts said seniors Roy Edwards and Bryce Cockerham stepped up and made free throws in the fourth quarter of the Cloverport game.
