The Cancer Center at Columbus Regional Health will provide free prostate cancer screenings from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Prostate cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers found in American men. Men older than 50, African-American men and men with family histories that include prostate cancer face the greatest risk.
Regular screening is an important way to diagnose the disease in initial stages, when treatment may be most effective.
