A Dubois County hunter found dead at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge died of a heart attack.

Jeff Rottet, 45, of Huntingburg, died Wednesday. An autopsy conducted Thursday morning at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour determined the cause of death, Jackson County coroner Roger Wheeler said.

The autopsy was conducted by Dr. Wes Whittler, a pathologist with the hospital.
