Hunter education class planned for April 13, 14

A Hunter Education class will be held April 13 and 14 at Brownstown Central High School, 500 N. Elm St.

Classes are free and will be 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 13 and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 14.

Participants must attend both days and pass a test to obtain hunter education certification, which is required for anyone born after Dec. 31, 1986, to obtain a hunting license. Anyone 12 and younger needs to be accompanied by an adult. Class size is limited to 60 people.
