Imitation inclination promotes faithful path



“Don’t imitate others; be yourself.” Did a parent or a teacher ever say that to you?

Maybe they said it this way: “Don’t follow the crowd; be different.”

That might sound like good advice, but you might as well tell a child to walk on water. There is something about us — or in us, maybe it’s the way we’re wired — that predisposes us to imitate others.
