Immanuel Lutheran Church’s Ladies Aid 3 conducted its October meeting in the Seymour’s church fellowship hall with hostesses Donna Otte and Pat Weasner serving cake, cookies, candies and drinks.
Theresa Vondielingen presided over the business meeting, which opened with group singing of “Bless Be the Tie That Binds” and Psalm 100 led by the Rev. Philip Bloch. Twenty-one members attended.
Members turned in Mites for Missions money, which will be given to Lutheran Women’s Missionary League in support of worldwide mission efforts. A decision was made to give financial support to the emergency diaper dispensary at Lutheran Child & Family Services at Indianapolis.
Donna Runge and Ruth Ann Schneider reported they visited shut-ins during October. Visits will be made by Sharon Scott and Sharon Klakamp during November. Cheer committee member Elsie Kovener reported she recently sent birthday cards and cheer cards to several members.
Marlis Kilgas gave first reading of the revision to the constitution and bylaws.
Bonnie Raabe and Donna Runge will be hostesses for the next regular meeting at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 in the church fellowship hall.
The meeting was closed with The Lord’s Prayer.
