Immanuel Lutheran plans Easter week services

The members of Immanuel Lutheran Church invite the community to join in services Thursday through Sunday.

On Maundy Thursday, services at 4:30 and 7 p.m. remember the night Jesus ate the Passover, washed the disciples’ feet and was betrayed. The 7 p.m. service will be broadcast live. Communion will be offered in both services.

At 12:15 p.m. on Good Friday, the service will offer 30 minutes of reflection during the time of day when Jesus was on the cross. A 4:30 p.m. service will be geared for families with young children. The 7:30 p.m. service will be a service of darkness that helps Christians prepare for celebrating Christ’s victory over death on Easter. The 7:30 p.m. service will be broadcast live.
