Indianapolis man injured in motorcycle crash

A 67-year-old Marion County man was flown to an Indianapolis hospital after he was injured in a motorcycle wreck south of Freetown.

David J. Monnier of Indianapolis was alert and conscious after the wreck, reported about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5400 block of North State Road 135, according to a news release from Jackson County Officer Adam Nicholson.

Nicholson said the extent of Monnier’s injuries was not known.
