A regional bank with a new branch office in Seymour broadened its presence here with the purchase of an investment firm on Monday.
Daryl R. Tressler, president and chief executive officer of MainSource Bank, announced Wednesday the Greensburg-based firm has entered into an agreement with Seymour-based Krumme and Brock Investment Services LLC to acquire that firm’s assets under management and its employees.
That move was effective Monday.
MainSource Bank recently opened a temporary office at 1104 E. Tipton St. but plans to build a new 7,000-square-foot office at 1130 E. Tipton St. next summer. That lot most recently house a used car dealership and for years was the home to a Burger Chef and later a Pleaser’s restaurant.
