It’s wise to think before you act

Children are everywhere, and so are insects. Sooner or later they meet — and when they do there will be some kind of predictable reaction.

Some kids will scream. Others will try to play with them. The insects will be inspected more closely by a few scholar-types, and then there will be some who without hesitation move in for the kill.

I’ll never forget an encounter with a spider in elementary school.
