Ivy Tech hires new student affairs leader

Keith Hansen became vice chancellor of student affairs July 1 at Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus/Franklin.

He will be responsible for the areas of admissions and student recruitment, financial aid, student records and registration, career services, judicial affairs, retention and student success, student life, and other non-instructional programs, according to a news release.

As the chief student affairs officer of the region, he will be expected to provide leadership in enrollment planning and management, strengthen relationships with collegiate and pre-collegiate educational institutions and community organizations and establish additional progressive strategies for advancing continuous quality improvement efforts.
