Deal provides path to bachelor’s degrees, tuition cost savings for students

Jackson County residents continuing their education at Ivy Tech Community College will have another option for pursuing a four-year degree.

Ivy Tech and Trine University announced a partnership Monday that offers Ivy Tech graduates a path to bachelor’s degrees at Trine, a private college located in northeastern Indiana’s Stueben County.

The 3+1 pathways program will allow students to transfer credits taken during their first three years with Ivy Tech to Trine University for their fourth year toward earning a bachelor’s degree in any of five disciplines.
