JCB sponsoring annual Dress a Doll contest

A decades-old program designed to put dolls in the hands of local children at Christmas time has begun.

JCB, which has provided the Dress a Doll program since the 1970s, has purchased a quantity of undressed dolls that customers can check out and dress and return the bank’s main office in downtown Seymour or JCB’s two other banking centers in Seymour and Brownstown.

Once all the dolls have been returned to JCB, they will be judged, and ribbons will be awarded for best-dressed doll in each category and an overall grand prize winner, according to a news release from Katherine Smith, assistant vice president of marketing.
