BROWNSTOWN
Jackson Circuit Court jurors found a Crothersville man guilty of two counts of conspiracy to commit murder.
Jurors deliberated about 40 minutes Tuesday night before returning guilty verdicts against John A. Shoultz III, who was convicted earlier this year of killing his father in 2009.
Prosecutor Rick Poynter tried the case along with Deputy Prosecutor Jeffrey Chalfant.
Shoultz, 24, was found guilty of conspiring to murder Chief Deputy Prosecutor Amy Marie Travis and North Vernon attorney John Roche, who had once represented Shoultz in his murder case. He was found guilty of conspiring to murder another man in the second charge.
