A Jackson County man wanted on a warrant faces new charges after his arrest early Saturday morning in Freetown, police report.

James Francis, 41, of Freetown was charged with Class D felonies of possession of methamphetamine, possession of stolen property and possession of a hypodermic needle, according to a report from Officer Rick Meyer with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.

Meyer said the arrest of Francis occurred after Meyer received information that he was reportedly living at 6700 N. Main St.
