The public is invited to Bird Jackson County, set to take place on Feb. 22.

There will be programs and vehicle caravan-type guided tours to sandhill crane viewing areas around Jackson County at 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., said Donna Stanley, a park ranger at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge.
