Seymour Jaycees recently donated $10,000 to Brownstown police and fire departments to be used for the purchase of automated external defibrillators. Those on hand for a ceremony acknowledging the donation include from left, Chris Snodgrass, owner of Lifelink, which sold the defibrillators, Brownstown Police Chief Tom Hanner, Brownstown Fire Chief Eric Browalski, Shawn Miskell with Seymour Jaycees, Assistant Chief Travis McElresh and Capt. J.L. McElfresh. The police department received four of the defibrillators while the fire department received three.
