Jennings County man gets prison term of 10 years for meth charges

A Jennings County man has received a 10-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to attempted dealing in methamphetamine.

That sentence against Jeffrey Collins, 40, of 5595 W. County Road 500N, North Vernon, was handed down by Senior Judge Bill Vance earlier this month.

Collins was arrested in February 2011 during an investigation by Seymour police into the explosion of a methamphetamine lab in a Seymour apartment in December 2010.
