Jennings police officer placed on leave following his arrest

NORTH VERNON, Ind. — A Jennings County man employed as a police officer was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with intimidation, a Class D felony.

Officer Jason Bliton, 41, of North Vernon has been placed on administrative leave by Sheriff Steve Hoppock as a result of the state police investigation, Maj. Jerry Shepherd said.
