Judge gives man 9-year sentence for role in burglary

The third and final Lawrence County man arrested for breaking into a home in the far western part of Jackson County in September of 2012 has been sentenced for his role in the crime.

Daniel Roy Bailey, 26, of Bedford, received a nine-year prison term Dec. 18 from Senior Judge William E. Vance in Jackson Circuit Court in Brownstown.

The term stems from Bailey agreeing to plead guilty to a Class B felony charge of burglary.
