Walk into the new advanced manufacturing and technology lab at the Jackson County Learning Center in Seymour and you won’t feel like you’re in a classroom at all.
The lab looks more like the work area in a factory than a postsecondary educational environment.
One side is filled with Amatrol robotics and computerized training equipment for electrical, pneumatics and mechanical systems. On the other side is machinery that could have been taken from the floor of any local industrial employer.
