Lanesville holds off Crothersville in SAC battle


Lanesville scored all five of its runs in the bottom of the first inning of Tuesday's Southern Athletic Conference baseball game, and the Eagles held off visiting Crothersville 5-4.

Crothersville scored once in the first and sixth innings and twice in the third. Tyler Banks had two of the Tigers' five hits.

Jacob Davidson went the distance on the mound, striking out four and walking one in a losing effort.
