Vanessa Bohall of Brownstown has discovered a lot about herself while serving as a member of Jackson County AmeriCorps over the past year.
“I’ve learned how to be a leader and how to be more organized all while serving my community,” she said.
Working for Girls Inc. of Jackson County, Bohall has helped the agency extend its services to the western part of the county, something Director Brenda Tracy said wouldn’t have been possible without the AmeriCorps program.
