Leads sought in dangerous pranks

Police want the public’s help in solving two cases of criminal mischief that investigators say endangered public safety this week.

According to the Indiana State Police, the first incident happened Tuesday afternoon as two people threw rocks off an overpass at vehicles traveling north on Interstate 65 north of Seymour.

A separate report came in Tuesday evening to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department about a motorist driving into a cable stretched across County Road 50N west of Brownstown.
