Learn to make bluebird boxes at Monroe Lake

A Feb. 22 workshop at Monroe Lake will teach participants how to help Eastern bluebirds by providing them with a safe place to lay their eggs this spring.

At this bluebird box workshop, participants will build two bluebird nesting boxes, one to take home and another for Monroe Lake’s bluebird habitat area.

There will also be a short presentation about bluebird mating, nesting and brood rearing.
