Legal Notice

Cummins Inc. (Corporate Office located at 500 Jackson Street, Columbus, Indiana, 47202) is submitting a Notice of Intent (NOI) for Seymour Engine Plant (SEP) located at 800 East Third Street, Seymour, Indiana 47274 to notify the Indiana Department of Environmental Management of our intent to comply with the requirements of 327 IAC 15-5 (Rule 5) to discharge storm water from construction activities associated with the DPW Substation Project. Construction is scheduled to begin June 2012 with completion by end of October 2012. The project is located in the East Half of Section 17, Township 6 North, Range 6 East, Jackson Township, Jackson County, Indiana. Storm water runoff from the project site will be filtered and treated via soil erosion control measures as specified in the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) prior to discharging off-site, to Eddy’s Run Creek and on to the Sandy Branch and on to the East Fork of the White River.
