Legion helps in upgrade for field



Seymour High School’s varsity baseball field will have a new look and a new name this season.

The athletic department has partnered with American Legion Post 89 in Seymour to make changes to the baseball field to increase safety, provide more seating for fans and help give the field a better identity.

The American Legion has donated $25,000 to help fund the project, which is estimated to cost $61,000.
