Letter: Agencies shouldn’t lend to other agencies

To the editor:

Nice to see that the Jackson County Solid Waste Management District cannot loan $250,000 to the Board of County Commissioners for the construction of an animal shelter.

I certainly am not against the animal shelter, but when a government agency has $250,000 that it can loan to another government agency, something is very wrong.
