Letter: Congress spends more, but still calls it a cut

To the editor:

I have been watching the news out of Washington with total disbelief at the direction Congress is taking with our country’s budget. We do not have a taxing problem. They are already stealing more than enough of our money. We have a spending problem. We are already $16 trillion in debt and they want more spending.

This insanity has to stop.

Ever wonder why Washington tells us they have cut so many billions in spending but every year they are always spending more than the year before? It is because they use a process called baseline budgeting.
