Letter: Guardian angels come in many sizes, shapes, colors

Margaret Carmichael

To the editor:

Just recently, I have noticed, in The Tribune, where you could send in what was on your mind.

My husband and I are among the elderly in our community and city. He’s nearly 87 and I am 86 and my husband is bedridden most of the time. That leaves me to do the running for medicine and groceries and paying bills. So, here is what is on my mind.

Each morning, when I pickup The Tribune to read the news, I can’t believe all the things going on around our town and towns close by. Family members killing family members, innocent babies getting tortured by their own parents or their mothers’ boyfriends, shootings and now someone getting beaten up with a rolling pin.
