To the Editor:
I’ve wanted to write before now about The Tribune’s new look — love the color and so much more information to read — and the big red barn ad for Farm Indiana reminding us of the great need of farming.
But today’s paper came to my porch, all pink! What a wonderful idea. This “pink” will remind us all of the battles so many go through fighting breast cancer. Little Jenna Bowers’ picture with Debi Wayman was so uplifting. Seems all of us have been touched, whether by family or friends who fight this monster.
So many stories in The Trib today, so much information. Thanks to all of you who continue to bring the information and personal stories of survival.
Some day soon, we won’t look at the color pink and think of cancer. It will be for the roses in the garden.
God bless all of you at The Tribune and all the folks who shared their stories with me.
