To the editor:
Several weeks ago, The Tribune published a story (Jan. 31, DPW opening) about the recycling effort in Seymour.
The director of the Seymour Department of Public Works said the Seymour Recycling Center no longer takes glass because there is no market for it.
In today’s issue of The Tribune (April 3), on page A8, there is an article distributed by The Associated Press that talks about the dire need for recycled glass. Maybe the director of Seymour Recycling Center can explain.
