Letter: Texting while driving becoming out of control

Rick Rogina

To the editor:

After many weeks and months of witnessing countless individuals up and down Tipton Street or U.S. 50 heading both east and west texting and driving all throughout the day, I’ve come to the point to put finger to keyboard.

The age ranges are from teens to the older, more mature, or supposed to be.

It’s out of control. Just on the way home from work today, I witnessed a young lady texting with both hands, neither of which were in contact with the steering wheel. I’m assuming she was driving with her knee.
